The Dilworth is a 14 room boutique hotel, opened in February 2015, designed within the historic Dilworth Building. The style integrates contemporary and traditional design elements with colorful and repurposed accents.
The building was constructed in 1912 and has had many uses over the years from a bank, office spaces, Gindlers Department store, and a church as a couple of uses before Come and Take It Properties purchased the building and started renovations making it a hotel and restaurant.
Our location on the square downtown Gonzales puts you across the street from live entertainment, downtown festivals like Come and Take It, Winterfest, and the Downtown Friday Night Music series held in June. Additionally, many of the local establishments have live music venues that are within walking distance of the hotel.
Many historical locations are also within walking distance of the hotel. From the Old Jail House and Chamber of Commerce to the Memorial Museum where the Come and Take It cannon resides, the hotel will allow you to park your car and enjoy the sites by foot if you desire.
